At Mad Hatters, we take food allergies very seriously and as such we want to make sure that we not only comply with the law but also make sure our clients can eat our food in an informed environment which is made as safe as possible.
We have compiled a very detailed allergen list for all our menus. Each food item will have listed all allergens individually contained within that item. Our allergen information covers the 14 major allergens: Celery, Cereals containing Gluten ( to include Wheat, Spelt, Rye, Barley & Oats), Crustaceans, Egg, Fish, Lupin, Milk, Molluscs, Mustard, Peanuts, Sesame, Soya, Sulphites and Nuts.
The allergy data detailed below has been derived from supplier specifications of allergenic ingredients within their food items. This information is subject to change and updated by our suppliers in real time. We have spoken to Trading Standards and they have advised the best course of action to comply is to update allergy information on a regular basis and as such we have a policy in place to monitor changes and to update our website if any changes occur within this framework.
We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the information provided is accurate. However, we can not guarantee that any product is 100% free from any allergen due to the small risk of cross contamination, risks in production, supply and preparation.
Please note, we prepare food in kitchens with products containing all 14 food allergens . If you suffer from sensitive trace reactions for stated allergens, please be aware we are unable to guarantee suitability for you.
